About Aerolineas Argentinas

Aerohandling S.A. is the company in charge of providing all airport services on land to the Aerolíneas Argentinas and Austral planes. That is, what is known as ramp services. Created in May, 1997, at first started to operate at the Ministro Pistarini (Ezeiza) and Jorge Newbery (Aeroparque) airports. From November, 2002 it operates from all the Argentine Republic airports, where Aerolíneas Argentinas and Austral flights reach.

As a consequence of the re-equipment and modernization plan at the present time, Aerohandling has special equipment such as pulling tractors, vehicles, carts, staircases, elevators, power units. And technically qualified personnel, according to the rules established by the proper authorities. In addition,an X-Ray unit of the latest technological standards has been incorporated, to scan local freight, in order to increase the control of merchandise and for better security in its handling. In this way the Freight sector is in line with the Security Plan for freight, couriers, mail, and this equipment is the first one operated directly by an airline company in Argentina.
