Air Mauritius offers business class passengers Premium access / Premium counters for check-in and a fast track immigration. A further bonus of flying Air Mauritius business class is that passengers are allowed 30 kg Checked Baggage which is handled with priority.

Chamarel Lounge: Below the Central Plateau on the way to the wild west, Chamarel village exposes its volcanic slagheaps undulating in coloured streaks. With its bowels exposed to the sun, and its molten magma origins, the Mauritian earth springs to its destiny from the bottom of basaltic rocks. Chamarel, whose name is given to the lounge on the mezannine, soaks up Business Class passengers into the forces of the earth and the energy released from its colours. In the Chamarel Lounge, paintings of local artists and furniture from the East India Company display the colours of our history as they blend into the stainless steel and the golden beech of the catering sideboards.

The A330-200 is the first Air Mauritius aircraft equipped with the new lie flat business class seats and with the new two-class configuration which will be the new product line of the whole Air Mauritius wide-bodied fleet. The A330-200 offers 24 business class lie flat seats and 251 economy seats. Business Class Passengers can also enjoy state-of-the art in-flight entertainment system, a truly huge AVOD - Audio & Video On Demand - menu offering of 50 digital-quality, multi-language video options together with a library of 60 CDs with play-list functionality. In the front cabin, the business class lie-flat cocoon seats are laid out in 2-2-2 configuration at 60-inch pitch. The seat features state-of-the-art technology and individual comfort at fingertip control with massage options, inflatable lumbar pouches, retractable privacy panel and other characteristics designed for you to enjoy a relaxing flight.

As appetiser, you will savour a lamb roulade and pesto with tomato butter toast; calamari toast with coconut milk and trout roe; local fish roulade and smoked trout mousse; salmon roulade with ginger and apricot cream cheese... As there is no great food without great wine, Air Mauritius has called upon the talents of David Biraud, best French sommelier in 2002, who has sampled a dozen of French wines famous for their character. There again, the match is perfect: each wine fits exquisitely with each dish.

A Complimentary amenity kit is handed out to business class passengers. For babies and young passengers : infant seat belt, baby bassinet, baby kit, nappies, games are available. To make the flight more comfortable, large pillows and blankets are handed out.
