Air New Zealand employ up to 90 concierge staff, who will be dedicated to making every customer journey before, during and after an Air New Zealand service a special event. International Airline Concierges will be a combination of travel advisers, disrupt managers, loyalty experts and destinational experts, focused on supporting every customer travelling with Air New Zealand. Their duties could include escorting passengers to and from the aircraft, recommending "must-do" Kiwi activities to tourists, assisting customers with onward bookings, supporting customers affected by a weather disruption, advising passengers on managing their Airpoints, or talking through the finer points of customers' in-flight wine selections.[1]

Air New Zealand operates International Lounges in ten of the main destinations. Air New Zealand Lounges are available in: Auckland, Brisbane, Christchurch, Honolulu, London (Heathrow), Los Angeles, Melbourne, Nagoya, Nadi, Osaka (Kansai), Papeete, Perth, Rarotonga, Sydney, Tokyo (Narita) and Wellington. Air New Zealand has agreements with other lounge operators in most of the other destinations which will still allow you to relax away from the crowds. In addition to the Air New Zealand operated or contracted lounges, there are over 550 lounges around the world available to Star Alliance Gold customers and those travelling in First or Business Class on a Star Alliance carrier.[2]

Your own large cotton pillow, duvet and sleep sheet, the finishing touch for a perfect inflight sleep. If you are on a long-haul journey, to ensure your complete comfort during the flight, a selection of amenity items will be offered to you by your flight attendant. You can choose from a range which includes socks, eyeshades, earplugs, a toothbrush kit and lip balm. Additional amenity items are available on request.[6]
