Air New Zealand recommends you have completed check-in at least 2 hours before your international flight is due to depart. Air New Zealand operates International Lounges in ten of the main destinations. In addition to the Air New Zealand operated or contracted lounges, there are over 550 lounges around the world available to Star Alliance Gold customers and those travelling in First or Business Class on a Star Alliance carrier.

The work is scheduled for completion by the end of October 2007. The second expansion will increase the total number of Premium Economy seats on B747 flights to 39, up from 23 seats at launch.
