For First and Business Class passengers the baggage limit is 70 pounds per piece and each passenger is allowed 2 pieces of checked baggage.

Air Tahiti Nui offers First Class travellers access to full service lounges. Invitation cards and specific directions to the lounge will be provided to customers upon check in. Lounge locations are subject to change at each airport. Papeete, Tahiti: International Lounge located one floor above the departure gates. Los Angeles: Shared airport lounge available for most flights. Location provided at check-in. For flights the lounge is not available, First and Business Class passengers will receive a meal voucher. New York: Shared airport lounge (Swiss Lounge) located in Terminal 4, on the Fourth Floor on the West side of the Building. Paris: Air France Lounge in Terminal 2A. Auckland: First and Business Class Customers are invited to utilize the Qantas Business Class Lounge, which is situated airside, just past the customs and security checkpoint. An invitation is provided at check-in.

The First Class service is named after Tahiti's black pearl, "Poerava" in Tahitian. Air Tahiti Nui has (6) six first class sleeper seats in an exclusive 1 row cabin in a spacious 2-2-2 configuration. Each seat has a horizontal recline to a 180 degrees and unlimited pitch. Each seat provides a 14" individual screen for viewing movies or video games.

Air Tahiti Nui offer multi-course gourmet meals served by our friendly and professional flight attendants in their purotu dresses evoking images from the painting of French painter Paul Gauguin. The meal plan is based on the standards of five-star restaurant and designed by a staff of internationally acclaimed chefs. First and Business Class meals are individually served to your specific requests and our wine list of famous vintages is personally selected by our Parisian sommelier.

Complimentary pajamas, large pillows and a blanket are handed out allowing each of our passengers to fully enjoy their cozy surroundings.

Every seat aboard Air Tahiti Nui is a virtual entertainment center with first-run movies, music, and games. Choose from up to six first-run movie features on each flight in both English and French language channels. From Hollywood blockbusters to popular independent titles, every seat becomes a personal movie theatre in the air. From take off to landing, choose between eight channels of non-stop music featuring classical, jazz, romantic, popular, international pop, Tahitian, and popular Japanese. The ATN Game Network is on all our aircraft. The network is easily accessed from your personal remote control. Every passenger can play card and action games against the computer or with other passengers on the flight.
