Flight Check-In can be found on the AA.com home page, or under the 'Reservation' tab and is the perfect way to stay one step ahead anytime you travel within the U.S. on a domestic electronic ticket. Login to AA.com or enter the passenger name and record locator, print your pass and you're ready to go.
Round Trip Flight Check-In is now available. Check in and print your boarding passes for both your outbound and return flights at the same time (as long as your return flight is within 24 hours of initial check-in). If you use Flight Check-In to print your boarding passes and would also like to check bags when you get to the airport, you can use the Self Service Check-In machines by selecting the "Check Bags Only" option, or Curbside Check-In (fees may apply).
Economy Class Seat
The coach seats are specially designed with comfort in mind. Six way adjustable leather headrests let every customer rest comfortably with no neck discomfort. The seat and back cushions are thoroughly tested and designed for maximum comfort. And most of our tray tables can slide, giving you the option to set your laptop, drink, or book in the most convenient position.
Your seat may be equipped with a DC power outlet. American uses a "cigarette lighter" style outlet delivering 15 volts of direct current. On most aircraft, a power outlet is available at each seat in First and Business class, as well as selected rows in the Coach cabin. Outlets may be used to operate laptop computers, CD/DVD players, charging cellphone and other devices with a maximum 75-watt capacity. Outlets are located on your seat console, or mounted to the seat frame below your seat cushion. Look for the "lightning bolt" symbol on the overhead bin rows containing powerport-equipped seats.
