As a Star Alliance Silver member, you're eligible for benefits and unique recognition across all 18 participating Star Alliance airlines and US Airways. Skip the line and check-in at designated Preferred ticket counters. If there isn't one, check-in at our First Class counters (within the U.S. or to Bermuda, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean) or at our Envoy Class counters for travel to/from Europe.
Members earn an automatic mileage bonus for all paid, qualifying flights on US Airways, US Airways Express carriers, US Airways Shuttle, ANA, United, Hawaiian and Big Sky Airlines. As a Silver Preferred member, you're entitled to an additional mileage bonus of 25%. That means a 1,000 mile flight will get you an additional 250 miles.
When you're traveling on US Airways and Star Alliance™ member airlines, you have priority standby. This means if there aren't any seats left on the flight you wish to take, you have priority over base members should a seat become available.

Also, if you present your Gold Preferred membership card and same-day International tickets, you can access over 600 Star Alliance lounges (including US Airways Clubs) around the world. Travel within North America and the Caribbean is excluded.

Get from the curb to the gate faster with Priority Security Lanes. Just show your Platinum Preferred card, a valid form of I.D. and your boarding pass. If you're traveling with a companions you can bring them through the Priority Lanes with you.

As a Chairman's Preferred member, you will receive two annual electronic one way First Class/Envoy Class upgrades for you and a companion for traveling on US Airways to or from Hawaii or Europe.
If you're booked in Envoy Class, you can upgrade to Envoy Sleeper any time before departure. Just call the Chairman's help desk to buy an upgrade with an advance seating assignment for you and a guest.

If you fly over 100,000 miles or 120 segments in a calendar year, you can nominate an individual of your choice to Silver Preferred status. If you have not completed your Silver Preferred Status nomination for 2007, please email your nomination request chairmans@usairways.com and list CNOM in the subject line.
You're eligible for a free one-year Club pass if you fly 150,000 Preferred qualifying miles or 150 segments in a calendar year. We will activate your Club membership for the following program year. As a Star Alliance Gold member, you're eligible for benefits and unique recognition across all 18 participating Star Alliance airlines and US Airways.

You're allowed one additional checked bag. Allowances vary, so please contact the airline you're traveling on for specific details. We also load your baggage last so that it will be among the first out on the conveyer when you arrive at your destination.
