After becoming a member of Eastern Miles, the points accumulated when taking eligible flights of China Eastern Airlines do not include the points earned from all sorts of promotion activities of Eastern Miles. Elite points are accumulatively calculated in successive 24 months as qualification of Eastern Miles VIP membership.

After becoming a member of Eastern Miles, the points accumulated from taking eligible flights of China Eastern Airlines or air partners of Eastern Miles or consuming at non-air partners of Eastern Miles, include the points earned from all sorts of promotion activities of Eastern Miles. Under the conditions specified by Eastern Miles, members can redeem various types of awards with Redeemable Points.

The Redeemable Points accumulated after August 1st, 2006 will be valid till December 1st of the third calendar year. For instance, the points earned from taking the flight on August 5th, 2006 will be valid till December 1st, 2009. If the points are not used for redeeming reward within the period of validity, they will be overdue.

Special points are those customized by Eastern Miles. After becoming a member of Eastern Miles, you can apply to participate a theme activity of Eastern Miles and earn the points specially set in this activity. Details of Special Points are determined by rules of each activity.

Status and Privileges

Golden Card membership

You can get priority for seat reservation of full-price Economy Class 48 hours before flight takeoff.

You can get the right of first priority for waitlisting and class upgrade.

You can take 40 kg of free Extra Luggage Allowance for domestic flights operated by China Eastern Airlines, and 20 kg of free Extra Luggage Allowance for international (area) sectors.

You can take 1pc free Extra Luggage Allowance (within 32 kg) for American routes.

The luggage can be placed with First Class tag or Business Class tag if there’s no First Class.

You can wait with a companion in First Class Lounge in a designated airport.

Silver Card membership

You can wait in Business Class Lounge in a designated airport.

The luggage can be placed with Business Class tag.

You can take 20 kg of free Extra Luggage Allowance for domestic flights operated by China Eastern Airlines, and 10 kg of free Extra Luggage Allowance for international (area) sectors.

You can take 1pc free Extra Luggage Allowance (within 16 kg) for American routes.

You can get the right of priority for waitlisting and class upgrade.

You can get priority for seat reservation of full-price Economy Class 72 hours before flight takeoff.
