There are four tiers in the Finnair Plus programme. By regularly choosing to fly with Finnair and other oneworld™ airlines you can rapidly become eligible to enjoy the benefits of Finnair Plus membership. By flying more often you reach higher tiers in the programme and gain access to a wider variety of benefits. You collect the points that entitle you to a higher tier over a tracking period.
The length of the personal tracking period is 12 to 24 months, depending on the tier. Your first tracking period begins when you join the Finnair Plus programme and lasts for 12 months. All of the points that you collect for taking scheduled flights with Finnair and other oneworld™ airlines accrue to your points total for the tracking period.
At the end of the tracking period you are transferred to the tier corresponding to the number of points that you have collected, your tier points total is reset to zero and a new tracking period begins. Your tracking period may also end before the time limit is reached, i.e. as soon as you have collected the number of points required for a higher tier.
Should you collect too few points by the end of your tracking period to renew your membership of the current tier, then you will be transferred to the tier corresponding to your points total. Your tier points total is then reset to zero and a new tracking period begins.
Status and Privileges
Finnair Plus basic tier
On joining the Finnair Plus program you will receive an interim membership card. Finnair will send you a full membership card when you have collected 5,000 Plus points for flights or completed two Finnair scheduled international return flights. Your Plus membership card remains valid until you are transferred to a higher tier.
Finnair Plus Silver tier
For promotion from the Finnair Plus tier to the Silver tier, you will need to collect 60,000 Plus tier points or make 36 scheduled international flights with Finnair or another oneworld™ airline* ) during your tracking period. At least four of these flights must be international scheduled flights with Finnair.
Your Silver tracking period is 12 months. All of the points that you collect for taking scheduled flights with Finnair and other oneworld airlines accrue to your points total for the tracking period.
To continue on the Silver tier, you will need to collect at least 60,000 Plus tier points or make 36 scheduled international flights with Finnair or another oneworld™ airline* ) during the next tracking period of 12 months. At least four (4) of these flights must be international scheduled flights with Finnair.
Should you fail to collect enough points to renew your membership of the Silver tier or to rise to the Gold tier by the end of the tracking period, then you will be transferred back to the Finnair Plus basic tier, your tier points total will be reset to zero and a new tracking period will begin.
For promotion from the Silver tier to the Gold tier, you will need to collect 120,000 Plus tier points or make 72 scheduled international flights with Finnair or another oneworld airline*) during your 12-month tracking period. At least four (4) of these flights must be international scheduled flights with Finnair. Your tracking period may also end before the time limit is reached, i.e. as soon as you have collected the number of points required for the Gold tier.

Finnair Plus Gold tier
For promotion from the Finnair Plus Silver tier to the Gold tier, you will need to collect 120,000 Plus tier points or make 72 scheduled international flights with Finnair or another oneworld™ airline* ) during your 12-month tracking period. At least four (4) of these flights must be international scheduled flights with Finnair.
Your Gold tracking period is 24 months. All of the points that you collect for taking scheduled flights with Finnair and other oneworld airlines accrue to your points total for the tracking period.
To continue on the Gold tier, you will need to collect at least 210,000 Plus tier points or make 130 scheduled international flights with Finnair or another oneworld airline*) during the next tracking period of 24 months. At least four (4) of these flights must be international scheduled flights with Finnair.
Should you fail to collect enough points to renew your membership of the Gold tier or to rise to the Platinum tier by the end of the tracking period, then you will be transferred to the tier that corresponds to your tier points total, this total will be reset to zero and a new tracking period will begin.
For promotion from the Gold tier to the Platinum tier, you will need to collect 300,000 Plus tier points or make 186 scheduled international flights with Finnair or another oneworld airline*) during your 24-month tracking period. At least four (4) of these flights must be international scheduled flights with Finnair. Your tracking period may also end before the time limit is reached, i.e. as soon as you have collected the number of points required for the Platinum tier.

Finnair Plus Platinum tier
or promotion from the Finnair Plus Gold tier to the Platinum tier, you will need to collect 300,000 Plus tier points or make 186 scheduled international flights with Finnair or another oneworld™ airline*) during your tracking period. At least four (4) of these flights must be international scheduled flights with Finnair.
Your Platinum tracking period is 24 months. All of the points that you collect for taking scheduled flights with Finnair and other oneworld airlines accrue to your points total for the tracking period.
To continue on the Platinum tier, you will need to collect at least 300,000 Plus tier points or make 186 scheduled international flights with Finnair or another oneworld airline*) during the next tracking period of 24 months. At least four (4) of these flights must be international scheduled flights with Finnair.
Your Platinum tracking period ends when you reach the tier points total required for renewed membership on this tier. The tier points total for your tracking period is then reset to zero and a new Platinum tracking period begins.
Should you fail to collect enough points to renew your membership of the Platinum tier by the end of the tracking period, then you will be transferred to the tier that corresponds to your tier points total, this total will be reset to zero and a new tracking period will begin.
