Earn Miles
Flying with Virgin is the best way to earn Flying Club miles because you can earn on every flight, including our lowest Economy fare. As always, when you're flying in Premium Economy or Upper Class, you earn even more miles with the cabin bonuses. Plus the Membership tier bonuses mean that Silver members earn a 25% bonus of base flown miles and Gold members a 50% bonus of base flown miles, so you'll have thousands of miles to spend in no time at all.
Status and Privileges
Flying Club Red Membership
You'll earn Flying Club miles when you fly with us, or use one of the partners, including other airlines, Virgin Group companies, hotels, car rental firms and more. Once you've got a few miles in ythe account there's thousands of rewards to spend them on, ranging from flight upgrades to a Virgin Wines voucher. From Flying Club Red just 15 tier points earned in a membership year will see you move up to Flying Club Silver with all its additional benefits.
Flying Club Silver Membership
You'll earn an extra 25% on base flown mileage when you fly with us, as well as earning miles with the wide range of partners. You have a choice of thousands of rewards to spend ythe miles on, as diverse as flight upgrades and African safaris. You are now entitled to all the fantastic additional benefits of Flying Club Silver membership on top of the benefits of Flying Club Red. Remember, you only need to earn 40 tier points in a membership year to move up to Flying Club Gold and start enjoying the benefits.
Fthe complimentary single First Class upgrade vouchers for Gatwick Express and Heathrow Express (two for each service). You will receive these vouchers when you reach or renew ythe Flying Club Silver membership. You must buy ythe ticket before boarding the train, and give ythe completed upgrade voucher to the onboard train staff.
Priority waitlisting for flights (excluding reward bookings). If the flight you'd like to book is already full, we'll bump you up the queue. So, if anyone fails to show up, you'll be one of the first people we offer a seat to.
Flying Club Gold Membership
You'll earn an extra 50% on base flown mileage when you fly with us, as well as earning miles with all of the partners. You have a choice of thousands of rewards to spend ythe miles on, ranging from upgrades to a stay on Necker Island. A Family Account offers you a Supplementary Silver Account and Kids' Accounts for up to six children aged between 2 and 17 who live at your home address.
Access to Virgin Clubhouses around the world when flying in any class on Virgin Atlantic for you and an accompanied guest (although they must be travelling with Virgin Atlantic on the same day).
Access to Virgin Atlantic's Revivals lounge when flying into London Heathrow on a 'VS' prefixed ticket. Please note: If you are using the Fast Track through Immigration & Security, access to Virgin Atlantic's Revivals lounge is only available to Flying Club Gold members when flying into London on a "VS" prefixed ticket. This benefit does not allow you to bring a guest with you.
Kids Accounts, enabling up to six members of ythe household aged between 2 and 17 years to earn miles on qualifying Virgin Atlantic flights. Any miles they earn will be automatically transferred into ythe Flying Club Gold account, so that you can spend them on Flying Club Rewards
A Supplementary Flying Club Silver Account for someone aged 18 years or over sharing ythe home address. Whilst they enjoy the benefits of Silver membership, you will be able to spend miles from their account in order to reach rewards more quickly.
Increased excess baggage allowance. On flights to and from the US, Caribbean and Nigeria, you are allowed one extra piece of luggage (to a maximum weight of 32kg when travelling in Upper Class or Premium Economy or a maximum weight of 23kg when travelling in Economy) in each class of travel and for all other flights you are allowed an extra 20kg above standard baggage allowances in each class.
Fast track through Immigration & Security on departure at London Heathrow or London Gatwick with a guest, they must be travelling with Virgin Atlantic on the same day.
One complimentary companion reward ticket on any Virgin Atlantic flight in any cabin when you renew ythe Gold membership. You must be travelling in a qualifying adult class (J, W, S, Y, B, L) in the same cabin, on the same date and the same flight as ythe companion. Qualifying fare levels may vary, see Terms and Conditions for full qualifying details. Bookings must be made directly with Virgin Atlantic and in advance of travel. Airport duties, passenger taxes and security charges apply to Complimentary companion reward bookings and are subject to availability.

You will receive five vouchers for each train when you reach or renew ythe Gold membership. You must buy ythe ticket before boarding the train and give ythe completed upgrade voucher to the onboard staff.
