Members can earn LANPASS kilometers by flying with LAN or any of the affiliate airlines, as well as by using the products and services of the associate businesses. Thanks to the oneworld alliance, as well as agreements with other airlines, LANPASS members can earn kilometers to exchange for rewards tickets to more than 600 destinations worldwide.
Thanks to LANPASS' alliances with other airlines, you can exchange your kilometers for tickets for flights with LAN or any LANPASS-affiliated airline. This means you will have over 700 destinations from which to choose. You can also use your kilometers for upgrades to Executive and First Class.
In addition, LANPASS is constantly offering its members a wide variety of exclusive travel offers in exchange for kilometers, as well as others which can be obtained for a combination of kilometers + $, plus many other surprises.
Status and Privileges
LANPASS Premium (Ruby membership with oneworld)
The LANPASS Premium category is the first Elite category for which you can qualify. As a Premium member, you will receive exclusive benefits that will be recognized by LAN or any of the oneworld member airlines, as LAN's Premium membership corresponds to oneworld's Ruby membership (as indicated on your membership card). You'll appreciate the difference of being an Elite LANPASS member.
LANPASS Premium Silver (Sapphire membership with oneworld)
LANPASS Premium Silver category is the second highest Elite rank you can attain. As a Premium Silver member, you will have access to exclusive benefits when you fly with LAN or with any oneworld alliance member airline, the latter by virtue of the Sapphire member icon on your Premium silver membership card. Feel the difference of being a LANPASS Premium Silver member.
You will receive six one-way Upgrade Coupons, which will enable you and/or a companion to move up to the class directly above the one specified on your ticket(s) on LAN flights. If you qualified for Premium Silver category during the same year you have qualified for Premium you will receive 4 temporary coupons that will be valid until March of the following year. On that month (March) we will send you your new 6 coupons that will be valid for a year.
PREMIUM SILVER members receive 100 percent in additional bonus kilometers relative to the actual distance flown on LAN and American Airlines flights.
As a PREMIUM SILVER member, you will be able to check in at the Executive Class or First Class counters (where available), even when flying Tourist Class. Simply present your membership card. This benefit applies to both LAN and oneworld flights.
You can board the plane as soon as boarding commences, when all of the other passengers have boarded, or anytime in between. This benefit applies to both LAN and oneworld flights.
You and a guest will have access to every LAN and oneworld VIP lounge. If you wish to enter to Mistral lounge with more than one companion, then they must pay for their tickets (children included).
LANPASS Premium Silver (Sapphire membership with oneworld)
LANPASS Comodoro category is the highest Elite rank you can attain. As a Comodoro member, you will have access to exclusive benefits when you fly with LAN or with any oneworld alliance member airline, the latter by virtue of the Emerald member icon on your Comodoro membership card. Feel the difference of being a LANPASS Comodoro member.
You will receive 6 one-way Upgrade Coupons, which will enable a companion to move up to the class directly above the one specified on his or her ticket on LAN flights.
As a Comodoro member, you will automatically be entitled to upgrade to the class directly above the one specified on your ticket on LAN flights (space permitting).
COMODORO members receive 100 percent in additional bonus kilometers relative to the actual distance flown on LAN and American Airlines flights. For example, if you fly 10,000 kilometers, you will earn 20,000 kilometers.
As a COMDORO member, you will be able to check in at the Executive Class counters (where available), even when flying Tourist Class. Simply present your membership card. This benefit applies to both LAN and oneworld flights.
You can board the plane as soon as boarding commences, when all of the other passengers have boarded, or anytime in between. This benefit applies to both LAN and oneworld flights.
