When reserving an EL AL flight (through your travel agent, at EL AL's reservations center or via EL AL's Internet site, be sure to mention your membership number. Also make sure your full name is listed on the reservation and that it is identical with the name that appears on your passport and in your Club account. This will ensure that you receive the points and the Club benefits coming to you.

Utilization of points you have accumulated in your account for vouchers for free tickets (bonus tickets) and vouchers for upgrading to higher Classes (Business Class/First Class). You can utilize the vouchers for your own use or transfer them to someone else (in accordance with the Customer Club regulations).

Status and Privileges

Silver Tier

Membership in the Silver Tier will be awarded for accumulating 1000 points or more from EL AL flights only (the base number of points) during a 12 consecutive months. Membership will be renewed, one year from the day it was awarded, if you have accumulated 800 points on EL AL flights only (the base number of points) during that period.

Gold Tier

Membership in the Gold Tier will be awarded if you accumulate 2000 points or more from EL AL flights only during 12 consecutive months (basic points). Membership will be renewed, one year from the day it was awarded, to members who have accumulated 1800 points or more on EL AL flights only (basic points) during that year Gold membership allows you to continue enjoying the benefits awarded to all Matmid members and Silver members and also earns you additional special benefits.

Platinum Tier

Membership in the Platinum Tier of EL AL's Frequent Flyer Club will be awarded if you have accumulated 5000 points or more from EL AL flights only (basic points) during a one-year period. Membership will be renewed, one year from the day it was awarded, to members who have accumulated 4500 points or more on EL AL flights only (basic points) during that year. Platinum membership allows you to continue enjoying the benefits awarded to all Matmid members and to Silver and Gold members and also earns you additional special benefits.
