Earn Miles

The points you earn can be Basic points or Extra points. Basic points can be used for bonus trips and offers but also count towards qualifying you for a higher membership level. Extra points can be used for bonus trips and offers. You will find full information under each partner the EuroBonus partner section.

The principle is simple, the more you spend the more points you earn. For the cheapest tickets you will earn 25% of the points you earn for a normal Economy ticket.

Combine your EuroBonus card with Diners Club or MasterCard and earn points. So when you use your card to pay for a restaurant bill or a day’s fun at the amusement park, you are one step closer to your next dream holiday.

Depending wich hotel or partner you stay with, you earn between 300 - 500 Basic or Extra points, and on cars 500 Extra points per rental.

As a Gold or a Silver member you earn 25% and 15% extra Basic points respectively on every flight, regardless of ticket. This benefit is valid on airBaltic, Blue1, Estonian Air, SAS and Widerøe.

Status and Privileges

There are three membership levels in EuroBonus, Basic, Silver and Gold. Your membership level is determined by the number of Basic points you earn during a qualification period. There are two types of EuroBonus points, Basic and Extra. Both can be exchanged for bonus trips and EuroBonus offers. Basic points also count towards upgrade to a higher membership level. You are automatically upgraded to Silver or Gold membership when the required number of Basic points is registered on your account. Your personal 12-month qualification period starts with the month you enrolled in EuroBonus.

EuroBonus Basic

You receive special discounts on hotel rooms and car rentals, and gain access to a range of special offers for EuroBonus members only, including the possibility of using your EuroBonus card as an electronic ticket on SAS flights and much more.

You can start exchanging your points for bonus trips and special offers as soon as you have accumulated a sufficient number of points.

Diners Club and MasterCard offer EuroBonus members the possibility to have a co-branded private EuroBonus card. Both cards also offer extended travel insurance when you purchase your travel as well as the possibility to earn points with Diners Club card or MasterCard.Another benefit is that you get 500 points discount per adult and 250 points for children (between 2-17) every time you book a bonus trip online.

EuroBonus Silver

Your status as a Silver member entitles you to privileged treatment at all times. You have special privileges that include faster, easier check-in and priority on waiting lists. You also earn 15% more Basic points on all flights operated by SAS, airBaltic, Blue1, Estonian Air and Widerøe, and you have special discounts on hotel partners and car rental companies. Benefits are effective the day you are upgraded, not before.

  • Silver members are allowed to use Air One's check-in counters dedicated for Frequent Flyer Members Scandinavian Airlines, Blue1 and Widerøe.

EuroBonus

Gold is the highest level of EuroBonus membership and is recognized worldwide by all Star Alliance™ partner airlines. As a EuroBonus Gold member, you have access to over 600 Star Alliance airport lounges, priority on waiting lists, faster and more convenient check-in, earn 25% more Basic points, special discounts at hotels and car rental companies, exclusive leisure offers and much more. Benefits are effective the day you are upgraded, not before.

Airport privilegies and more for Silver members

  • Highest priority on waiting-list.
  • Guaranteed seat, not class with a Business class ticket in C if booked at least 48 hours before departure.
  • SAS Hot Line 24-hour service at +45 32 32 68 00.
  • Enjoy a fast and efficient way to travel, use SAS Fast Track with any kind of ticket in Copenhagen on SAS operated flights. In Stockholm on Blue1, SAS operated flights. In Amsterdam & Brussels a Business class ticket must be presented.
  • EuroBonus Gold members traveling on a same-day ticket with SAS, a Star Alliance carrier or other SAS airline partner, are welcome to bring one guest or their immediate family into the following lounges: SAS Scandinavian Lounges, SAS Business Lounges, SAS Domestic Lounge Arlanda
  • Gold members also have lounge access when arriving from an SAS operated intercontinental flight (though not at Heathrow or Newark due to airport authority regulations).
  • Departing EuroBonus Gold members holding a same-day outward ticket on a scheduled flight with a Star Alliance airline have privileged access to lounges operated by Star Alliance partner airlines and other SAS EuroBonus partner lounges, they are also entitled to bring one guest.
  • EuroBonus Gold members have access to Air One Participant's lounge in Rome as well as other contracted lounges at Italian airports, irrespective of class of service, when departing on Air One's flights and holding a same day ticket. You can also to bring one accompanying guest provided that the guest holds a same day ticket on Air One.
