Frequent flyer program

Victoria Miles are credited as Status Miles or Bonus Miles. Status Miles can only be accrued on TAP and Star Alliance member airline flights. Bonus Miles are accrued on TAP's partner airlines only. Both can be exchanged for awards, but only Status Miles count towards Victoria Silver Winner or Victoria Gold Winner status. Miles are credited according to the rules of the operating carrier.^[3]^[4]

Victoria reaches One Million members: The Victoria Programme has recorded strong growth in membership numbers since its inception. In 2009, this figure rose by 17.3% overall, with particularly strong growth in Brazil, which saw membership increase by 35.7% to over 250,000. The Victoria Programme aims to grow by a further 15% in 2010, to reach a total of 1.15 million members by the end of the year. As a new feature of its loyalty programme, TAP will soon launch the Victoria Shopping Basket, an online store selling products and services. Payments will be accepted in cash, miles or miles & cash.^[5]
