[edit] On Ground Services

As a Business Class passenger, your check-in baggage allowance is 30kg. On flights to, from or via the USA, Canada and certain countries in South America, you may check in 2 bags with dimensions measuring up to 158cm (62 inches) in total and 32kg (70lbs) in weight for each. Checking in at our SuperHub is hassle-free, quick and convenient. The check-in counters are located on Level 7 – the same level where you arrive at the airport (whether by train or bus). Business Class passengers now have your own special check-in area at our SuperHub.

[edit] Lounges

After relaxing in the spacious Business Class Lounge on levels 6 and 7 of The Wing (perhaps enjoying a drink at the Long Bar with the spectacular backdrop, having a refreshing shower, or simply sitting back with an absorbing book in the peaceful Reading Room), you are ready to board your flight. Designed to refresh the body and soothe the mind, The Wing – a truly innovative airport lounge for all eligible and specially invited First and Business Class passengers, provides a unique environment for work, rest and play before getting on board. Here, business and leisure meet in complete harmony, and you'll find plenty of space to do both - including our unique Personal Living Spaces, where you'll get the privacy you need to work. You can also unwind at The Long Bar, or enjoy freshly-prepared noodles and other snacks at The Noodle Bar.

[edit] Business Class Seat

The new Business Class cabin will redefine long-haul business travel, offering comfort and privacy whether you are working or relaxing in flight. Individual space is enhanced by moulded partitions and a new seating configuration which allows unrestricted aisle access from each seat. Other innovations include advanced technology and state-of-the-art design, putting everything within easy reach. The result is the ideal environment for a more comfortable and productive business flight. The new luxury seat transforms into a fully flat bed, 6 feet 6 inches for a more restful sleep on long-haul flights. The new three-point seat-belt design offers increased stability at take-off and landing and can be modified to a regular seat-belt configuration for added comfort during the flight.[1][2]

[edit] In Flight Meals

Due to special climate controls inside the cabin, the best wines in the air are often those that are more robust in flavour. Cathay Pacific carry a range of 40 quality wines on board – from rare wines produced in France and Italy to wines from the New World including South Africa, Australia, the United States and New Zealand and of course, Cathay Pacific only offers you the top picks. For your main meal, you are given a choice of four entrées on long-haul flights, and between two and three on regional flights - selected from a superb range of Asian and Western dishes. The mains are either presented on a low, flat-topped trolley giving you an inviting eye-level choice of what's on offer, or presented on a tray by a flight attendant.[6]

[edit] Service

The new 110V AC power socket is suitable for work or play – computers, PDAs, MP3 Players and other electronic devices. A pillow and illumination light allow you to create a more cosy environment. The amenity kits, by French label Agnes b, feature select skincare products from American brands Murad or Dermalogica, and other essentials such as toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash.

[edit] On Board Entertainment

Featured only in Cathay's New Business Class cabins, you have your very own 15" widescreen television with noise-cancelling headsets and 'Audio-Video-On-Demand' (AVOD). StudioCX gives you a choice of over 100 movies, 350 TV shows, 888 music CDs, over 70 games and 22 radio channels and programmes in 9 languages available at any time.[7]

On aircraft with old cabins up to 26 video and 22 radio channels, on a cycle basis, are available on a 6.5" television.
