For all classes, each passenger (except an infant) can bring a free baggage allowance of one cabin bag not exceeding 56x36x23cm (22x14x9 in) in size. These dimensions include wheels, handles and side pockets.[1]

[edit] Economy Class Seat

In a world first for Economy Class travel, the new seat creates a fixed living space that no longer interrupts the space behind when you recline. The exclusive LEAP Live BackTM feature uses office chair technology to provide active support of the spine in all positions. The recline button enables the seat bottom to slide forward while the back recedes into the shell. To return to upright position, simply slide the seat back. The literature pocket has been relocated to below the seat cushion to create more leg room.[2]

Due to special climate controls inside the cabin, the best wines in the air are often those that are more robust in flavour. Cathay Pacific carrys a range of 40 quality wines on board – from rare wines produced in France and Italy to wines from the New World including South Africa, Australia, the United States and New Zealand.[4]

Need to keep your laptop computer running at full speed onboard? Cathay Pacific offers you inflight laptop power! This service is available to selected Economy Class. Inflight laptop power is available to passengers on a shared basis in Economy Class. When travelling on aircraft equipped with DC power, you need to have your own universal air power adaptor that plugs into an "empower" socket. This is different from your terrestrial power charger, and can purchaseon the ground at any major computer store.[5]

Featured only in Cathay's New Economy Class cabins, you have your very own 9" widescreen television and 'Audio-Video-On-Demand' (AVOD). StudioCX gives you a choice of over 100 movies, 350 TV shows, 888 music CDs, over 70 games and 22 radio channels and programmes in 9 languages available at any time. On aircraft with old cabins up to 26 video and 22 radio channels, on a cycle basis, are available on a 6.5" television.[6]
