[edit] On Ground Services

Concierges add a personal touch to Continental's BusinessFirst service, long before departure. These specially-trained representatives provide individual on-the-ground assistance that complements the award-winning BusinessFirst inflight service. Besides helping customers with pre-boarding, concierges greet connecting BusinessFirst customers at the gate and assist them through Customs. In short, concierges ensure that each BusinessFirst customer receives personalized, VIP treatment not offered by most other airlines. Concierge service is available on all international routes offering BusinessFirst service, including Houston, New York/Newark and Cleveland.[1]

[edit] Lounges

Continental's Presidents Club offers the busy traveler personalized service and a relaxing oasis in 27 private airport clubrooms. The comfort and privacy of these clubrooms allow you to take care of business, conduct a meeting, make phone calls or just relax between flights in pleasant surroundings. BusinessFirst and International Business Class customers are also welcome to visit the Presidents Club. A same-day BusinessFirst or International Business Class boarding pass is required for admission. BusinessFirst customers can also bring up to two guests, or a spouse and children under the age of 21. Domestic First Class customers do not qualify for admission.[2]

[edit] Business Class Seat

The new Business Class of Continental's BusinessFirst seats allow customers to lie completely flat, reclining 180-degrees and providing 6 1/2 feet (2 meters) of sleeping space in the fully extended position on its widebody aircraft. The lie-flat seat offers a seat wide measuring up to 25 inches when the adjustable armrest is positioned flush with the seat cushion, allowing customers to sleep more comfortably. Electronic "one-touch" controls enable customers to easily move the seats to pre-set upright, cradle and fully extended sleep positions and additional controls allow customers to adjust the seat back, lumbar support and leg and foot rests to the custom position most comfortable for them. iPod connectivity will also be available in the new Business Class at the seat, allowing each customer to view their personal videos and enjoy their music, all while the iPod is charging. The new BusinessFirst seats also have a six-way adjustable head rest, an individual overhead reading light and an adjustable seat light allowing a Business Traveller to read in bed without disturbing their neighbor and a privacy shell that allows for seclusion from other travelers.[3]

Continental Airlines BusinessFirst (Business Class) passengers flying on a Boeing 777 aircraft experience the supreme comfort of our enviable sleeper seats. Each sleeper seat reclines to a near-flat 170, providing the ultimate in rest and relaxation. Measuring 22 inches wide, the sleeper seat is one of the widest business class seats available. The sleeper seat refuses to take a backseat to any other competing domestic or international carrier. Seat position controls are on top of the armrest so they are easier for the customer to see and use. The seat allows the customer to adjust the back, lumbar support, leg and foot rests to an infinite number of seat positions.[4]
