About Croatia Airlines

Croatia Airlines d.d. (international label CTN, flight label OU) is the Croatian air transport company established in 1989 under the name of Zagal. This continuously growing company connects Croatia with most important European cities and through them, with the whole world. Since 1992, Croatia Airlines has been a full member in the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and since 1998 a member of the Association of European Airlines (AEA). The company's headquarters are in Zagreb, Savska cesta 41, tel. +385 1 616 00 66, fax. +385 1 617 68 45.

Croatia Airlines has branch offices in Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Pula, Rijeka, Split and Zadar, as well as abroad - in Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Rome, Sarajevo, Skopje, Vienna and Zurich.

The company has one of the youngest and most modern fleets in Europe, comprising 11 modern aircraft, eight new A319 and A320 airbuses (one A319 has been leased) and three ATRs 42, and records an increase in the number of passengers year after year.

Last year was the best year in the history of the company by number of passengers. In the course of 2003, Croatia Airlines recorded 1,468,410 passengers, which is 11 percent more than in 2002, and the largest number of passengers since the company first started transporting passengers in 1991. Last year was unique in the history of the company because each month was a record month (August was the most successful with 186,832 passengers), and the company recorded a profit amount to 15.1 million kunas.

Croatia Airlines connects Croatia with the following European destinations: Amsterdam, Brussels, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Istanbul, London, Ljubljana, Manchester, Munich, Paris, Prague, Rome, Sarajevo, Skopje, Tel Aviv, Vienna, Warsaw and Zurich. In Croatia, they have flights to Zagreb, Bol, Dubrovnik, Asijek, Pula, Rijeka, Split and Zadar.

The Croatian national company has established successful cooperation with numerous foreign airlines, including the German Lufthansa, as the most important one.
