Croatia Airlines takes special care to keep to the flight schedule and in transporting passengers, their baggage, cargo and post without any delay. However, flight delays and cancellations can occur mainly due to the nature and complexity of air transport. There are also certain circumstances a carrier cannot have influence on, eg. bad weather conditions; political, security or legal reasons; industrial actions or appropriate airline associations regulations.

Should there be a flight delay, cancellation or rerouting, Croatia Airlines will provide its passengers with all necessary information about the reasons of the irregularity, at the airport of departure or on board our aircraft, as soon as possible. In order to make waiting at the airport more comfortable, our Ground Handling staff will make sure refreshments and meals are given whenever it is possible. Our passengers are also entitled to a telephone call to their family or business partners so as to inform them about the flight irregularity. For passengers who continue their journey the carrier will organize the first available flight to the final destination. This service does not refer to the situations of flight irregulatrities caused by reasons out of carrier’s control, as well as to the situations when passengers have separate tickets, since it means that there are two separate contracts. In case there is still plenty of time before the commencement of the journey, Croatia Airlines will do everything possible to inform passengers and its Sales Agents about the changes in the flight schedule.

There are several kinds of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages you will be offered to complement your meal. You can order a special meal while making your flight reservation, as long as it is done at least 24 hours prior to departure.

In most cities, transportation between the city terminal and airport is well organized, either by airlines themselves or by public transport services. The fare for such transportation is not included in the amount paid for the air ticket.
