Economy Class passengers on Emirates flights are allowed 20 kgs of free baggage respectively. Infants (not entitled to a seat) are allowed 10 kgs free baggage regardless of class of travel (one checked bag not exceeding 115 cms [45 inches] in total dimension).

Economy Class Seat

Quiet, spacious cabins with plenty of large storage lockers for carry-on baggage, superb meals and outstanding inflight entertainment all combine to make flying with Emirates even more comfortable. The newly designed, contoured seats are set in 2-4-2 and 2-4-3 configurations with a recline of 15 centimetres (6 inches) and no less than 81 centimetres (32 inches) between rows. On board the Airbus A380 adjustable headrests, more space and a sliding base allowing deeper seat recline, which offers more comfort for Economy Class passengers. With more choice than ever before, the new generation Economy Class seats feature over 1000 channels of on-demand ice movies, audio and TV on a 10.6" Digital widescreen. Every seat has its own laptop power supply and USB connection, allowing you to view videos and pictures from your laptops or portable devices.

Phone calls cost just US$5 a minute, and it is only US$1 to send or receive sms and email messages. You can even chat to friends, family and colleagues inflight with our seat to seat calling facility.

15 video channels, containing 164 new movies, 3 classic films, World Movies and a variety of specially selected TV programmes, can all be found on Emirates inflight entertainment. So if you’re looking to relax, why not catch the latest Hollywood or Bollywood blockbuster or settle down to watch your all time favourite classic movie. Keep the kids happy with a classic Disney film on our Children’s TV channel, or play one of up to 50 games where you can test your knowledge of trivia, go golfing or even play Hangman. Catch one of our World Movies from Arabia, Asia or the Far East and select from a range of 10 different language options on our English language movies including French, Arabic, Korean, Italian and Japanese.
