Etihad has dedicated check-in desks in the departure terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Diamond and Pearl Zone guests can check in at the exclusive check-in facility for the premium guests. Pearl Zone guests can avail the services of Etihad Chauffer. Etihad Chauffeur, the premium limousine service, creates a unique door-to-door experience for Pearl Zone Guests. The Pearl Zone Guests can currently enjoy this courtesy service in the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Germany and Australia, soon to be extended to other destinations of the growing network.

Lounges

At Abu Dhabi International Airport, the Pearl Zone guests can relax at the exclusive Etihad Premium Lounge. The lounge is well equipped with laptop connections, high-speed Internet access, and fax and telephone facilities. There’s also an excellent range of audio and video programmes to keep you entertained. And there’s a fine selection of refreshments and hot and cold buffet dishes to choose from. Etihad Premium Lounge is situated on the first floor of the airport and offers a stunning view of the runway.

Business Class Seat

The Pearl Zone in Etihad’s new fleet of aircraft — including the two-zone A330-200s, the A340-500s and the Boeing 777-300 ERs — brings new levels of comfort into the skies. The new Pearl Zone seat reclines 180 degrees into a fully flat, comfortable, 6 ft 1-inch Business Bed. With an 88-inch pitch and direct access to the aisle, the Pearl Zone seat offers plenty of space and privacy. For added comfort, each self-contained seat is equipped with individual lighting and a reading lamp. There’s also a built-in massage facility to help you relax. As a final touch, the revolutionary mood lighting system — synchronised with the time and duration of your journey — creates a soothing ambience that helps you arrive rested, refreshed and ready to make the best of your trip.

The Pearl Zone in the new fleet of aircraft (the A340-500, the two-zone A330-200 and the Boeing 777-300ER) offers over 350 hours of world-class entertainment with our advanced audio-video-on-demand system. The 15-inch personal LCD screens — the largest in comparable cabins in the industry — add a whole new dimension to entertainment in the air. You also enjoy more flexibility with the entertainment system: you can use the Plug-and-Play feature to view your own videos, while the Audio Player lets you create your own play lists. And the wide range of interactive games will leave you spoilt for choice. You can also catch up with work as you travel: the new Pearl seat has power access, USB ports and an RCA socket so you can connect your laptop and work the hours away.
