Passengers travelling between Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai or Muscat and returning on the same day can now check in and receive boarding passes for their entire trip at the originating airport. Just fly through the airport, skip the queues, and make your way to the boarding gate on your way back as you will already have your boarding pass in hand.

Passengers travelling in any class on any Gulf Air route from Bahrain and Muscat now have the added convenience of being able to check-in up to 24 hours prior to their departure time with their baggage. Normal passenger and baggage check-in procedures will apply and passengers will be presented with boarding passes. Passengers must however, return to the airport and proceed directly to the departure gate an hour prior to the departure time of their flight.

The Economy cabin has been completely refurbished to provide a light, comfortable environment for our guests. There are 217 seats set in a 2-4-2 configuration, so you are never more than one seat away from the aisle. The pitch is set at 32/34 inches and each seat has adjustable head and neck supports and of course, a footrest.

All passengers on Gulf Air may request a special meal to suit their dietary requirements. Orders should be placed when making your ticket reservation and no later than 24 hours prior to departure.

In-seat telephones are available for all passengers on A330 and A340 aircraft, personal telephones are located on the reverse side of your handset - wall-mounted telephones are also available on some of our A340s. Please note that calls cannot be made during taxi, take-off and landing.

The Gulf Air Economy Class offers a Personal video screens, 21 audio and video channels, Airshow, Camera Views, personal telephones. Air Entertainment, the exciting personal entertainment network available to all Gulf Air passengers offering more than 100 hours of video and audio options. The very latest blockbusters from various regions are also on offer and include British, French, German, Australian, Hindi, Filipino, Tamil, Malayalam and Arabic films. Air TV provides a wide range of entertainment featuring highlights from major sporting events, episodes from top TV series, the latest comedy and travel programmes, as well as culture, history, Hollywood gossip, programmes from BBC World and much more.
