KLM Business Jet

From FlyerWiki

As of October 30, 2005, KLM has introduced a new service in top-quality air travel: exclusively KLM World Business Class on board a Boeing 737-700 business jet. This service is scheduled on the Amsterdam-Houston route and back, and is just one of the ways that KLM meets the increasing demand for intercontinental flights offering excellent service. KLM Business Class passengers increasingly require service at the top level of quality. On the route between Amsterdam and Houston, KLM is responding to this need with its new Boeing 737-700 business jet service. This service, featuring only World Business Class seats on board the plane, will be offered six days a week. The airplanes and crew will be leased from PrivatAir, an extremely reliable Swiss airline that has extensive experience in providing business jet services. The addition of supplementary ‘winglets’ and extra fuel tanks makes these planes ideally suited for non-stop long-distance flights.

Business Class Seat

The business jets feature 44 comfortable lie-flat seats that can be operated fully automatically. The 62-inch seat pitch and a seat back that reclines down to 175° ensure that you will be well rested when you reach your destination. All passengers have access to a DigEplayer, an interactive, portable audio and video player with an extensive, regularly changing selection of movies, music and information.
