You can now check in online the day before your flight and up to 1 hour before your flight (at the latest) for all LTU flights from all German airports, from Cape Town (South Africa) and from Windhoek (Namibia). You can also check in fellow passengers, choose a seat and print out your boarding card from your own printer.

No more standing in queues! Hand your luggage into the LTU "Internet Drop Off" counter (NB: for flights to the USA and Canada, please go to the designated USA/Canada check in). If there is no designated separate "Internet Drop Off" counter, please check in your luggage at the business counter. If you are only travelling with hand luggage, you may go directly to the gate.

For a seat reservation free of charge we recommend the LTU CARD. For just 30,- EUR per year you enjoy many services. Normally, a seat reservation costs 10,- EUR per person/leg, i.e. for 2 persons per outward and return flight = 4 legs x 10,- EUR = 40,- EUR.

In Flight Meals

Just relax and enjoy the service. Depending on the departure time and the length of the flight LTU serves cold and/or warm meals appropriate to the meal time. On all long-haul flights, you have a choice of two meals in the Economy Class. In addition, LTU serves special children's meals for children from an age of 2 years. On medium-haul flights, LTU serves one meal in the Economy Class without pork. LTU offers a range of non-alcoholic beverages, coffee, tea, fruit juice and a wide range of spirits and alcoholic drinks on all flights.
