In 1947, a small air service opened its doors with just one twin engine Air Consul that sat only five. Since then, however, Malaysia Airlines has become an award-winning airline with a fleet of more than 100 aircraft, spreading its wings across six continents and servicing more than 100 different destinations.

With a storage area spanning 166,000 square feet and an annual cargo capacity of 300,000 tonnes, the facility is patronised by a host of other airlines. Many airlines, including Thai Airways International, Garuda Indonesia and Air Lanka also seek the top-notch maintenance services of Malaysia Airlines’ world-class engineering division.

As a testament to our commitment towards crew excellence, staff members from 22 other airlines form the student body of Malaysia Airlines Academy. The quality of this institution continues to serve as a benchmark for the industry, a level of quality that all other airlines aspire to.
