A chauffeur will pick you up from your door and can be waiting for you when you land. You can book Qantas Drive whenever you are travelling on a Qantas flight to or from any major Australian airport. Qantas Drive is operated by Equity Transport Limited ACN 010 237 108. As a Business customer we recommend you check in at least 90 minutes before your flight departure time at the dedicated Business check-in. At the gate, a dedicated boarding lane for international flights allows you to avoid the general queue, so you can board with ease at any stage of the boarding process.[1]

Qantas Club lounges provide comfortable seating, complimentary light refreshments, bar facilities and reading material. Select lounges also include business facilities, complimentary wireless internet, work-stations and showers. Members are welcome at over 130 lounges worldwide. Lounges are open to Platinum and Gold Frequent Flyers, oneworld equivalent members, Qantas Club members on day of Qantas travel and all Qantas First and Business customers on day of travel.[2] Qantas opened dedicated domestic Business Lounges in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra in 2008, offering quiet work suites and complimentary wireless internet, a selection of hot and cold food, barista service and separate bathroom and private shower suites. The lounges are open to Business customers and Qantas Platinum and oneworld Emerald Frequent Flyers.[3]

With an in-built back massager and extensive range of seat adjustments, it offers outstanding comfort whether you're working, being entertained, eating or sleeping. While the unique cocoon style design offers you new levels of privacy. The Business Class Seat Features are: A seat that transforms into one of the world's longest and most comfortable beds at almost 2 metres long. Extensive seat adjustment controls for maximum comfort in any position, regardless of your height. In the recline position the bed width measures a spacious 61cm (24 inches), allowing plenty of room for you to stretch out comfortably. More privacy and personal space thanks to a 'cocoon' design and a generous privacy screen. A personal entertainment unit featuring a 26.5cm screen that can be tilted for optimal viewing, complete with quality noise cancelling headphones. More comfortable cushioning developed with a leading Australian ergonomist to help you sleep and relax. AC power plug for your laptop that doesn't require an adaptor cable. For your comfort, the pitch of the seat is 122cm-127cm (48-50in). The headrest has adjustable ears for lateral support and the height can be varied. The A380 Skybed is longer and fully flat, with ergonomically enhanced cushioning, a larger in-arm entertainment screen and additional storage options. The upper deck Business cabin features an enhanced version of the award-winning Skybed sleeper seat in a two-two-two layout. A private lounge area is available featuring leather sofas, self-service bar and large video monitor with laptop connectivity.[4]

Enjoy delicious meals designed by Neil Perry, from a full restaurant-style experience to a faster, express-style meal, or simply a snack if you feel peckish in the middle of the night. The room service style breakfast allows you to select your meal before going to sleep, enabling you to maximise your sleep and set your own schedule. On all B747-400 and A330-300 aircraft the inflight bar gives you the flexibility to fix yourself a drink or snack at anytime. Enjoy our luxury blend of coffee, specially produced by Grinders Coffee.[6]

Marc Newson has consulted with Qantas to develop a contemporary amenity kit for the business traveller featuring products from the Australian skincare range, Ultraceuticals. New to Business are Peter Morrissey designed pyjamas and eyeshades. A selection of toiletries will also be available from the cabin crew including Schick Razor and Schick Shaving Foam, toothbrush and Colgate Toothpaste and cotton knitted socks.[7]

[edit] On Board Entertainment

The Qantas A380’s state-of-the-art inflight entertainment system is manufactured by Panasonic Avionics Corporation, and offers customers greater choice. A state-of-the-art graphic user interface allows passengers to easily navigate through a vast range of entertainment choices, including on-demand access to over 100 movies, 500 television selections, 1000 audio CDs, 80 PC style games, as well as a selection of 50 audio books and 20 radio channels, Deloitte Leadership Academy, Lonely Planet destination and arrival guides, and language tutorials. USB and RJ45 (internet) ports and PC power are also available in all cabins. The aircraft also features an external camera giving a pilot’s eye view of take-off, landing and cruise. Wireless or in-seat access to a range of connectivity options including email and internet will be introduced in 2010 subject to regulatory approval.[8] All Qantas International A380, B747 and A330 aircraft are fitted with on demand entertainment systems offering digital picture and sound quality and large selections of movies, television programs, destination guides, CDs, radio channels and interactive games. The award-winning monthly magazine, Qantas the Australian Way, is available in the seat pocket on all Qantas flights.[9]
