As a Qantas Premium Economy Class guest you can enjoy the convenience of priority check-in and at the gate you will have access to a Premium Boarding lane. [edit] Premium Economy Class Seat
As a Premium Economy Class guest you can enjoy the privacy of a 32 seat (40 seats on some flights to the US) cabin that is hosted by a dedicated flight attendant throughout your flight. On board you can enjoy the comfort of the spacious 19.5" wide Premium Economy seat, with ample legroom, fold out footrest and 9" recline. The Premium Economy seat offers a multitude of features including literature pocket and waterbottle holder, in-arm meal table, laptop power and an 8.4" in-arm digital touch screen video monitor. Premium Economy will be located on the main deck of B747 aircraft with 32 seats in a two-four-two configuration. On the A380, the cabin is located on the upper deck with 32 seats in a two-three-two configuration.[2]
Qantas Premium Economy is now available on selected flights from Sydney to Los Angeles, London, Singapore, Bangkok, Buenos Aires, Johannesburg, Hong Kong, New York and San Francisco and from Melbourne to Los Angeles, London, Singapore and Hong Kong. The journey starts with a complimentary pre take-off champagne (juice or water if you prefer). Premium Economy includes a self-service bar offering a selection of refreshments throughout the flight, in addition to the regular choice of meals designed by Neil Perry's Rockpool Group, premium wines, superior tableware and soft furnishings.[5][6]

The Qantas comfort kit will help you feel relaxed and refreshed during your flight. Inside the handy passport sized pouch with strap, you'll find warm socks, eyeshades, toothbrush and toothpaste. When you are resting, you can snuggle up with a cosy sheet-backed blanket and large cotton pillow. The complimentary children's activity packs includes items to help keep younger travellers entertained for hours.[7][8]

The Qantas A380’s state-of-the-art inflight entertainment system is manufactured by Panasonic Avionics Corporation, and offers customers greater choice. A state-of-the-art graphic user interface allows passengers to easily navigate through a vast range of entertainment choices, including on-demand access to over 100 movies, 500 television selections, 1000 audio CDs, 80 PC style games, as well as a selection of 50 audio books and 20 radio channels, Deloitte Leadership Academy, Lonely Planet destination and arrival guides, and language tutorials. USB and RJ45 (internet) ports and PC power are also available in all cabins. The aircraft also features an external camera giving a pilot’s eye view of take-off, landing and cruise. Wireless or in-seat access to a range of connectivity options including email and internet will be introduced in 2010 subject to regulatory approval.[9][10]
