At the Amman city terminal Business Class Passenger can enjoy the following services: Advance check-in, up to 24-hours prior to your flight departure time. Check-in and receive your boarding pass up to two and a half hours prior to departure, (three hours prior to departure for passengers traveling to the United States of America ( New York , Chicago and Detroit ). Get 10 kilograms of free excess baggage on direct flights on all RJ routes (Except flights to USA - Passengers traveling to the USA are allowed 10 kg free on one suitcase only). Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport , you will breeze through airport immigration and can proceed directly to your departure gate.[1]

At specially-designated Crown Class counters at the airport, the professional and courteous staff offer you rapid check-in. As a Crown Class passenger you are entitled to priority boarding and disembarking once you reach your destination. All Crown Class passengers have 24-hour access to the completely renovated Petra Lounge (South building) and Jerash Lounge (North building) at Queen Alia International Airport. A whole world of indulgence awaits you at the new Crown Lounge, exclusively available to Crown Class travelers, Royal Plus Platinum and Gold card holders, in addition to the corresponding oneworld's Emerald and Sapphire card holders. The new Crown Class lounge located at the second floor of the south terminal replaces both Jerash and Petra lounges, and is designed to accommodate 340 passengers. The Lounge also has wall TV screens in addition to individual viewing places. There is an amusement room for adults and a room for children where they can watch cartoon films. A special entrance in the South Terminal leads passengers to security inspection and passport areas through a special corridor, which also leads to Crown Lounge.[2]

The Business Class sleeper seats in Crown Class on our Airbus A340 aircraft are a generous 83 inches apart, and can recline to a flat 180 degrees for optimum sleep comfort. All recliners are equipped with large in-arm video screens and flexible reading lights and you can control all the features at the touch of a button.

When traveling on Crown Class , you will be offered the very finest international cuisine or, 24 hours before your flight, you may order a special meal to fit your dietary or religious needs. The Royal Jordanian cabin crew will start by offering you a selection of hors d'oeuvres. You will then be given the choice a main course from one of the four meals listed on the on-board menu. These comprise appetizers, salads, and dishes made up from beef, fish or poultry as well as a light, healthy option. All main courses are followed by a selection of international cheeses, a wide choice of deserts & Arabic Ice cream, and are accompanied by a fine assortment of alcoholic and soft beverages.[3]

On board the Airbus A340 you can enjoy up to 10 movies on the basis of 5 outbound and 5 inbound films, not including the main screen program in the Business Class.[4] The personal video service (IMS) is only available for Crown Class passengers flying on Airbus A310. The IMS service is provided on flights of approximately 3 hours and more of flight time. The IMS library is comprised of a large number of movies, short subjects, huge audio library and games all at the touch of a screen. The IMS unit is a state of the art classy hard drive based player very light in weight and is offered with a noise cancellation headset.[5] The Audio Video On Demand (AVOD) system on board the A319, A320 and A321 Aircraft is a digital platform offering the best quality of audio, video and gaming. This system is available to all passengers (J/C & Y/C) on aircraft that are equipped for this service. The passenger is presented with an attractively branded graphical User Interface to access all programs.[6]
