Economy passengers can travel smarter by checking in online before they travel. Alternatively, for extra convenience, SAS Self Service check-in kiosks and baggage drop facilities are also available at most airports.[1]

The aircrafts feature specially designed and ergonomic seats. A long flight crossing several time zones can be a strain on mind and body. Therefore SAS has made an effort to help you arrive at your destination in good shape mentally and physically. Also in Economy - like in all other classes - you can listen to your favorite music, watch movies or play games! Scandinavian Airlines’ Economy seats are considered to be among the most comfortable and widest in the sky, with a seat pitch of 81cm/32” and width of 45cm/17”.[2]

SAS passengers in Economy are served a three-course meal, with complimentary drink and a meal beverage. Depending on local arrival time, breakfast or a light meal is served prior to landing. Between meals passengers are invited to help themsel- ves to juice, water, snacks and sandwiches. Alcoholic drinks between meals can be purchased.[3]

All seats (On long haul flights) are equipped with a 6.4” personal screen that offers a wide range of entertainment, including movies, music and video games. It is also possible to watch landing and take off live through our landscape cameras. SAS is also one of few airlines to offer Economy passengers a wide selection of magazines onboard.[4]
