Singapore Airlines Business Class passengers are able to check in between 1 hour and 48 hours before the scheduled departure time. Singapore Airlines have made numerous check-in options available to Business Class Passengers so whether you’re at home, on your mobile, on the website, or even downtown in Singapore, you can check in when, where, and how it is convenient for you. At the Singapore Airport the Premium Services Officer will handle your check-in while you sit back and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the reception lounge. A private entrance from the lounge leads you directly to Immigration. You may then proceed to the Silver Kris Lounge or to your boarding gate, relaxed and ready for the journey.[1]

Whether you just want to relax over a drink or attend to urgent business before you begin your journey, the Silver Kris Lounges worldwide can meet your needs. SIA’s Silver Kris Lounge (SKL) is part of the Airline’s total travel experience – with 17 high-service facilities providing Business Class customers with the same exceptional service on the ground as in the air. In addition to the established Silver Kris Lounges, eligible passengers may also enjoy access to affiliated partner and Star Alliance airline partner-operated lounges in many destinations around the world. Silver Kris Lounges are available in: Adelaide, Amsterdam, Brisbane, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, London, Manila, melbourne, Osaka, Penang, perth, San Francisco, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney, Taipei.[2]

The exclusive 1-2-1 forward facing new Business Class cabin layout (onboard A380, A340-500 and Boeing 777-300ER) offers more privacy and direct access to the aisles. The new Business Class bed allows you to work, lounge and live in a uniquely spacious environment. Featuring a dedicated sleeping surface for added comfort, it is designed to accomodate virtually any sleeping position. Softest leather, a height adjustable table, a vanity mirror, your personal coat hook and space at the seat for your cabin bag. A centralised, all-in-one Business Panel features laptop power supply and 2 USB ports. Built-in office software allows you to create spreadsheets and presentations, without the use of a laptop. It’s another first from Singapore Airlines. Designed with a contemporary colour scheme and enhanced by intelligent mood lighting, your surroundings exude an aura of unmistakable sophistication. The new A330-300 aircraft will replace the B777-200 on medium haul routes to Australian and Japanese cities, progressively from March 2009. The new seats will offer an enhanced product offering to customers on these routes. The new seat will also be progressively retrofitted onto other existing medium-haul aircraft, as part of the Airline’s ongoing product enhancement efforts. The Business Class Seat is positioned in a 2-2-2 configuration and has a seat pitch of 152.4cm (60"). The new Business Class Seat offers a advanced control panel which allows the seat to be reclined to a lie-flat seat (with a gentle 8-degree incline inflight), or a resting position. The seat also features a six-way adjustable headrest and lumbar support, providing the customer a more comfortable rest and maximum ergonomic support.[3][4][5]

The inflight meals are individually served on tableware designed with a modern feel that is exclusively for Business Class. This new design reflects a contemporary feel that harmonizes with the new Business Class cabin. Just as in First Class, Singapore Airlines also offer extra virgin olive oil, including natural, truffle, chilli and balsamic vinegar as an alternative to butter to complete your Meal.[7]

Featuring a dedicated sleeping surface for added comfort, the new Business Class bed is designed to accomodate virtually any sleeping position. To ensure a more comfortable sleet, you will receive a light duvet, large pillows and fresh linen.

The latest entertainment, including Audio-Video On Demand from KrisWorld, is unveiled on your 15.4-inch personal LCD widescreen. Bringing you high fidelity sound in quiet comfort along with the latest in noise-cancelling technology. If you need to get work done, a centralised, all-in-one Business Panel features in-seat power supply and 2 USB ports. Now you can access built-in office software that allows you to create documents, spreadsheets and presentations, without the use of a laptop. This feature is currently available on the Singapore Airlines Business Class on its B777-300ER, A380, A340-500 and A330-300 aircraft.[8]
