USA Flights - Passengers are required to check in at least three hours before departure of flight. All other International flights - Passengers are required to check in at least two and a half hours before departure of flight (irrespective of Class of travel).[1]

A snug blanket and pillow help you to sleep during the night. Seat pitch on the main deck matches competitors at 31”. The upper-deck features a generous 35” pitch, with preference given to Voyager card members.[2]

In all cabin classes on board, South African Airways strives to improve the food and wine service and innovate continually, rotating menus weekly on domestic routes and approximately every three months on international routes. South African Airways is the first company to be granted honorary membership of the South African Chefs' Association.[3]

Personal television with a 6.8” screen at every seat with P@ssport audio-video-on-demand. This system allows each passenger to play, pause, rewind or fast-forward any movie at any time without it affecting other passengers’ viewing. It features a variety of video games. Passengers can also compile their own audio listings by selecting from a variety of soundtracks.[4]
