Swiss First passengers travelling from Zurich Airport can arrange for all the services connected to air travel, in an ambience resembling that of a five-star hotel. They can check in, pick up pre-ordered tickets, re-book, pay excess baggage fees, arrange for valet parking. Champagne and coffee are available on request. The Island can be accessed from the Departures hall or via a separate entrance next to the passenger drop-off zone.

To help ensure that Swiss First Class customers can spend as much time as possible in the lounge before their flight, Swiss has enlarged its First Class check-in zone, a move that should significantly speed up the check-in process. The new First Class Check-in Lounge offers guests additional check-in desks in an area that is physically separated from the rest of the check-in concourse. In addition to an appealing new design based on an aircraft fuselage, SWISS First Class customers can also look forward to exclusive check-in service and comfortable seating in the new facility.

Another addition to the Zurich check-in concourse is the new state-of-the-art Airport Ticket Office, which has also been substantially enlarged from its predecessor and is available to all Swiss customers. The new Office’s physical separation from the Business and Economy Class check-in desks should help enhance the ticketing services offered.

Lounges

The SWISS lounge, only a few steps past the passport control, offer customers even more comfort, calm and practical working facilities than before. They also boast, as something of a centrepiece, probably the longest lounge bar in the airline world, with a length of 28.6 metres, which offers customers a fabulous view out over the airport and its bustling operations.

First Class Seat

Your seat is accompanied by an ottoman on which you can rest your legs or you can invite a fellow Swiss First passenger to join you for a conversation or a meal. Your table is also designed to accommodate two persons. And when your meal is over, your table folds up neatly and can be tucked away on the side. The press of a button is all it takes. Within a few seconds you’ll be able to stretch out and relax.

In Flight Meals

The choice is yours. Either a meal reminiscent of a gourmet restaurant, with up to seven courses. Or just a sampling of a few of our warm and cold tasty morsels. Or you can order a Quick Meal in advance so that you’ll have more time for sleeping. Meals in Swiss First generally put the accent on fresh, light and healthy dining, their compositional harmony reflecting the creativity of our chefs, with an emphasis on Swiss accents mixed with an intercultural touch here and there. The presentation of our food and beverage selection is an eye-catcher, too, making your gourmet experience even more enjoyable.

Service

An amenities kit you can use long after your flight – stocked with socks, eyeshades, toothbrush, toothpaste and earplugs. Slippers for medium-sized and larger feet. Products from Swiss luxury brand La Prairie: hand cream, moisturiser, facial spray (located in the Swiss First lavatory). On request, shaving equipment, shoe horn, nail file, hairbrush, needle and thread, lip balm, moisturiser, mouthwash.

On Board Entertainment

Enjoy yourself for a few hours by watching a movie or TV programme on your screen. The entertainment specialists have taken care to make sure that you get to enjoy: contemporary feature-length movies – some of which are currently showing at your local theatre, the finest in comedy and drama, a wide selection of language soundtracks. More than 30 video channels. You can be your own programme director with our video on demand. Watch a movie from the start, pause, rewind or fast-forward, just as you can on your own player at home.
