[edit] On Ground Services

Airlines offer different possibilities to check in: regular check-in counters, web check-in and check-in on the evening before the journey. Check-in counters are usually opened 2 hours before the planned take-off time. Some airports allow you to even check in earlier. We recommend that you check in as early as possible, since the check-in counters close 45 minutes (in Tel Aviv and Algiers 60 minutes) before the scheduled departure time. Passengers cannot check in after that time as the check-in system is then closed down. Passengers must reach the check-in desk in sufficient time to ensure that they have checked in and received their boarding cards no later than 45 minutes (in Tel Aviv and Algiers 60 minutes) before the booked departure time.[1]

[edit] Economy Class Seat

You can reserve on many flights a seat up to 48 hours before departure on payment of a non-refundable processing fee of currently EUR 10 (GBP 9/USD 14), either online when you book your flight or afterwards by phoning the Service Centre.[2]
