THAI no longer requires that you reconfirm your flight but please contact THAI to cancel your reservation if your travel plans change. Many airlines still require reconfirmation. If your journey includes a portion on another airline you may have to reconfirm onward journeys at least 72 hours before departure.

Economy Class Seat

THAI’s Economy Class passengers are made to feel welcome from the moment they step onboard. Cabin staff receive each passenger with warm smiles and the Thai traditional ‘wai’ gesture of greeting. This courtesy sets the mood for the superior hospitality they will receive throughout their flight. Flying THAI’s Economy Class is different from other airlines and, from this year, will become even more special, with the introduction of new, wider seats of the latest design offering greater space and comfort, plus the upgrading of every aspect of inflight service. In Flight Meals

THAI is renowned for its gracious inflight service and its excellent meals in all classes. It offers a choice between two entrees, and changes its menus on a regular basis to please frequent passengers. All drinks are complimentary. Passengers who submit their requests 48 hours prior to departure, can be served special menus to suit religious and health preferences.

Service

THAI provides female passengers with free Madam Pompadour orchids to brighten their flight. Children are also given gifts to help them enjoy their flight. THAI provides Duty Free shopping on every international flight. Cabin personnel sell liquors, perfumes, as well as items unique to THAI including aircraft miniature, roller ball pens and Thai computer mouse. Catalogues in the seat back pockets display products, descriptions, and prices. Most major credit cards and currencies are accepted.

On Board Entertainment

In-seat facilities include a personal telephone and PC power outlet, while an onboard work station facilitates worldwide communications during the flight. The latest Audio/Video On Demand (AVOD) system, with large format touch-control screens, offers a huge range of entertainment, music and information channels. Available aboard aircraft types: A340-500, A340-600 and B777-200ER in all classes.
