The airline employs more than 32,000 aviation professionals worldwide. [1]

All told, US Airways offers more than 3,800 daily departures to 240 destinations in 28 countries. A dedicated team of nearly 35,000 aviation professionals welcome 70 million passengers per year. The US Airways mainline fleet consists of Airbus A330, A321, A320 and A319 aircraft as well as Boeing 767, 757 and 737 aircraft. The Express fleet utilizes more than 450 regional jets and turbo-prop aircraft.[2]

With primary hubs in Charlotte, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Las Vegas plus significant operations in New York (La Guardia), Washington D.C. (Washington National), Pittsburgh and Boston, US Airways has a rich culture and colourful history as one of America's great airlines.[3]

Frequent flyer program

There are many opportunities to earn miles with Dividend Miles. You can earn miles and award travel like a frequent flyer (even if you’re not). Earn miles doing things you already do - such as sending flowers, subscribing to your local newspaper, dining out, and much more. To receive mileage credit, provide your Dividend Miles account number when you make reservations, check in at the airport and when you use partner services.[4] As a Dividend Miles member, you can upgrade to First Class or Envoy on US Airways flights. Platinum and Chairman's Preferred members booked in Envoy can buy upgrades to Envoy Sleeper any time before departure.[5]

US Airways is a member of the Star Alliance network, which was established in 1997 as the first truly global airline alliance to offer customers a worldwide reach and a smooth travel experience. In 2007, the Star Alliance network was, once again, voted the Best Airline Alliance at the Business Traveller Awards. Overall, Star Alliance offers more than 18,100 daily flights to approximately 975 destinations in 162 countries.[6]
