On Ground Services

For travel on United you may check two bags free of charge within the U.S. 50 states and to/from Canada, San Juan, Puerto Rico and St. Thomas U.S.V.I. The maximum size of each checked bag is 62 inches/158cm (length + width + height). The maximum weight per checked bag is 50 pounds/23kg each. Baggage must be checked at the airport at least 45 minutes in advance of flight departure time.

In Flight Meals

United Airlines serves complimentary meals on most international flights between the US, South America, Europe, the South Pacific and Asia. Shortly after takeoff, customers will enjoy a beverage service with cocktail snacks, complimentary soft drinks and premium liquors, beer and wine. Alcoholic beverages are complimentary on trans and intra pacific flights and availabe for sale on other international flights. The main meal will consist of salad, appetizer, a choice of hot entrees and dessert. On longer flights United also offers a light pre-arrival meal.

Service

Satellite phone service is available on domestic and international flights aboard B767, B747 and B777 aircraft. Rates are $10 per minute, with a $10 connection fee.

On Board Entertainment

During your flight, United Airlines offers feature films, TV programming, and XM audio programming, free-of-charge. United also provides complimentary headsets so that you can enjoy all of our in-flight entertainment options. Seat back video screens on all international three-cabin 767-300 and 777 aircraft.
