Virgin Atlantic can arrange a complimentary chauffeur driven car service to collect you from work or home. If you arrive at Heathrow, Gatwick or Johannesburg by chauffeur driven car or LimoBike, your chauffeur will check you in at the unique Drive Thru Check In so you can bypass the terminal and head straight for the Clubhouse. If you make your own way to the airport, Virgin has got an efficient and friendly dedicated Upper Class check in area. Express hand baggage check in is also available at a number of airports, as are Fast Track passport and immigration channels.

Lounges

You'll find everything you'd expect from a lounge in a Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, like full business facilities and a stylish bar, and you may also find a few things you wouldn't expect such as swinging chairs, music rooms, salons and even a spa pool! Clubhouse lounges are available in: Heathrow, Gatwick, JFK, Newark, Washington, San Francisco, Johannesburg, Tokyo and Hong Kong. The new flagship Clubhouse at Heathrow airport is now fully open and welcoming the Upper Class passengers and Flying Club Gold members. The Clubhouse is full of stylish features and interiors, with service designed to feel like a private members club.

Business Class Seat

At 79.5" (202cm) long (82"/208cm on the upper deck) the Upper Class Suite has the biggest fully flat bed when compared with other airline's business class. Across the shoulders the bed is 33" (84cm) wide. The Upper Class Suite has a 22" (56cm) wide seat. It also has full lumbar support and comes with its own ottoman, which doubles as a seat for a guest. So business can be done with a colleague or a drink can be shared with a friend. The seat flips over to become a fully flat bed at the touch of a button. This allows for the two sides to serve completely separate functions - a fully contoured seat on one side covered in soft leather, while on the reverse the bed is built of firm, highly supportive foams covered in a breathable fabric for maximum sleeping comfort.

In Flight Meals

In Upper Class there are no set meal times. You’re free to eat what you like, when you like. A three course meal after take off? Coming right up. A bacon sandwich and a fresh juice at the bar after a little snooze? No problem. Your choice from the Freedom menu will be individually and freshly prepared to your order and served up in style on fine china. To compliment the Good Night Flight service, Virgin Atlantic will be offering a greater range of food options in the Clubhouses. For those who do want to eat onboard, a choice of freshly prepared full meals will be available satisfying the heartiest of appetites. The stunning bar area is a great place to meet fellow travellers, chat with the crew, have a drink or something to eat.

Service

Whether you want to work or play whilst onboard, the in-seat power service will keep your gadgets going. The Business Pack provides power to over 700 different laptop models, while the Gaming Pack supports a full range of iPods and the Sony PSP. Virgin Atlantic is pleased to offer power leads for selected Apple iPods. This service is available in all Upper Class cabins. Upper Class Snooze Pack: The new pack includes passenger essential: toothbrush and toothpaste, eyeshades, socks and earplugs all delivered in a handy shoe bag. Cabin Crew will be offering additional items to help make the flight more comfortable. Passengers can help themselves to Polo mints, Upper Class pens, razors, and shaving cream, moisturiser and lip balm all from Cowshed.

On Board Entertainment

Take the chance to catch up on the latest Hollywood blockbusters with the award winning movies. The onboard TV offers award winning comedy, music, drama and documentaries. We even have channels dedicated to keep the kids amused.
