The check in facilities close 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure times of the Virgin Atlantic flights. If you fail to complete check in procedures by this time you will not be able to travel. Virgin Atlantic suggest you check in two and a half hours prior to your flight to allow for security and check in queues.[1] Online Check In allows you to check in for your flight on our website in a matter of minutes. Simply check in online between 24 hours and 2 hours prior to your flight time.[2]

The Virgin Atlantic Economy Class Seats offer an average seat pitch of 31”; new seats have adjustable headrests and lumber supports.[3]

There is such a thing as a free lunch; Virgin Atlantic offers a free meal and free drinks on all flights. You can forget the usual jokes about airline food, ours is delicious and with enough notice we can even tailor the catering for some specific dietary requirements that you may have i.e. Kosher, Vegetarian, Gluten-free, Medical Meals. These need to be booked through Special Assistance.[4]

For the outbound journey the amenity kit is filled with added extras including socks, eyeshades, a Virgin Atlantic pen and a toothbrush and toothpaste - all packed into an opaque rucksack. For the inbound journey passengers receive some eye shades, ear plugs, toothpaste and a toothbrush in a wash bag.[5]

Every seat has its own seatback TV with a choice of channels to keep everyone entertained throughout the flight. Virgin Atlantic ist dedicated to bringing you the very latest movies, comedy, sports, drama and kids shows. On many of the flights each seat also comes with its own video games console with up to 35 games. And, rolling out across the fleet, is the very latest video on-demand, which means you can pause, fast forward or rewind, just like at home.[6]
